Do you ever feel lost?

Like you don’t know where you’re supposed to be in life… or where you’re even going? Maybe you’re unsure of what you really want, and every decision feels heavier because of it. And in the middle of all that, you want to trust what God has in store for you—but you’re not even sure what that’s supposed to look like.
If that sounds familiar, you’re not alone.
This feeling—being stuck between where you are and where you think you should be—is more common than people admit. It’s uncomfortable, confusing, and sometimes even a little scary. But it doesn’t mean something is wrong with you. More often than not, it means you’re in a transition… even if you can’t see what you’re transitioning into yet.
We tend to think of life as something we’re supposed to “figure out.” Like one day everything will click, and we’ll suddenly feel certain about who we are and where we’re going. But that’s not how it usually works. Most people don’t discover their purpose in one clear moment—they build it slowly, through experiences, decisions, and even mistakes.
And that uncertainty you’re feeling? It’s part of that process.
When it comes to faith, this can feel even more complicated. You might hear people talk about trusting God like it’s supposed to come with clarity and peace all the time. But in reality, trust doesn’t always feel like certainty. Sometimes it feels like taking a step forward without knowing if it’s the “right” one. Sometimes it looks like doing your best with what you have, and letting go of the pressure to have everything mapped out.
Trust can be quiet. It can feel uncertain. And that doesn’t make it any less real.
Instead of trying to figure out your entire life, what if you made the question smaller?
What feels slightly right—not perfect, just possible?
What are you curious about, even in a small way?
What’s one step you can take this week?
Clarity often comes after movement, not before it.
The truth is, even people who seem like they have everything figured out have walked through seasons like this—sometimes more than once. It’s just not something we talk about enough.
So if you feel lost right now, take a breath. You’re not behind. You’re not failing. You’re just in a part of the journey that requires patience, honesty, and a little bit of faith.
And maybe, for now, that’s enough.
