Scripture: “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”— Jeremiah 29:13 (NIV)
Reflection: Seeking God isn’t just something we do on Sundays or when we’re desperate—it’s a daily decision to draw near to Him. I’ve come to realize that prayer is how I pour out my heart to God, but His Word is where I hear His heart for me. When I’m overwhelmed, confused, or just needing direction, the Bible becomes a lamp to my feet (Psalm 119:105). Through prayer, I lay everything at His feet, and through Scripture, He reminds me of who He is and what He’s promised.
There have been moments where I didn’t know what to pray—but even then, just sitting in His presence, opening my Bible, and asking Him to speak brought me peace I couldn’t explain (Philippians 4:6-7). It’s not about perfect words or long hours of study—it’s about being intentional and open. God honors that. And the more I seek Him, the more I find Him—just like He promised.
Scriptures to Reflect On:
Jeremiah 29:13 – “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”
Psalm 119:105 – “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path."
Philippians 4:6-7 – “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God...”
James 4:8 – “Come near to God and he will come near to you.”
Prayer: Lord, I want to know You more. Teach me how to seek You through prayer and your Word. Help me to hear Your voice clearly and to trust You deeply. As I draw near to You, I know You will draw near to me. Thank You for always being faithful, even when I’m uncertain. Amen.
